  Excellent ales, good food ... especially the Sunday lunch. Well behaved dogs welcome ... pretty much everything that a pub should be.

• Awsome Food

  Marvellous food and service if you live in Shropshire or travelling thru it is a place you must visit. The staff are very welcoming and can’t do enough for you.

• Wonderful Sunday Lunch

  After hearing good things form all of my friends about wenlock edge inn me and my wife ventured out there for Sunday lunch. As soon as we walked thru the door we were greeted very warmly by the managers who found as a table straight away we were surprised to get a table so soon as the place was packed. Me and my wife both ordered beef and we both commented that it was the best Sunday lunch we have ever had. We will definitely be calling again in the week to sample the rest of the menu and recommend to everyone to call in and have a meal.

• Wenlock 'Height' of quality

  Hi All - I read with interest recent reviews on the Wenlock Edge Inn, in Shropshire - I review a number of venues across the region, and we carried one out mid Summer, to the contrary of ones posted here - It also received rave reviews from the local paper the Shropshire Star (most read regional in the UK) which infact gave it 4 out of 5, purely because it was a pub, and not a restaurant - It does seem that these reviews have become a little personal, when a hard working couple are making a good go of the business, AND I might add creating a real buzz in the area, by those who enjoy it, and those who can't get in due to demand. • Excellent choice of local ales and food.

  Dear all having visited the Wenlock Edge Inn many times I have found the food to be superb on every occasion and felt very welcomed. I am not one for writing reviews but after seeing what David Courtney Jones had written I felt that I must put my honest opinion forward.If you do happen to read David Courtney Jones’s review you will soon discover that he obviously has a grudge and he intends to try his best to put people off for whatever reason that may be. Please note that his id tag is “Cheffy” many reviews which are stated to be other people are actually David Courtney Jones once again being very pathetic.Both food and atmosphere are excellent at the Wenlock Edge Inn, it is so nice to vist a county pub with an excellent choice of local ales and food. My only problem is now trying to find another pub to rival it which is very difficult, Please try it for yourself you will not be disappointed.

• best food for miles

  ive visited the wenlock edge several times and always enjoyed superb food and service and plan to take all my work staff for a Christmas mealdavid courtney jones is obviously a very sad and twisted man who is upset that this restaurant is going from strength to strength without himi also know many others who have dined there and have not heard anything but good reportsplease ignore anything said by this idiot ant trust me this is the best food ive tasted in ages and at a very reasonable price as well10 out of 10

• Don't believe everything ypu read

  Very disappointed went to the Wenlock Edge, guided by the previous review. David Courtney-Jones has nothing to do with the pub/restaurant, in fact no one on the staff had ever even heard of him. Food not even up to AA rosette standard. Don't waste your time.
