I am a qualified psychologist and a member of the British Psychological Society offering presentations and drop in sessions to businesses. The drop in sessions are unique. I provide all the materials such as posters, models, leaflets, questionnaires and of course expertise. The information details what causes inattention and why people break rules. It can be deliberate or inadvertant and the drop in sessions explain to managers and employees why accidents occur and how just a few adjustments can create much safer behaviour. The stress presentations include the effects on the brain of mundane things such as coffee, chocolate (good and bad) as well as more harmful effects from drugs, alcohol, excessive pressure. It also looks at home life and work life balance. The questionaires include stress evaluation similar to that recommended by the HSE as well as behavioural evaluations.
